Restore Check
Does your backup restore? I check.
A backup that has never been restored is a guess. I restore it for real and hand you the proof, dated and signed.
What I test
- I restore the backup you already have, with your tool, not mine. pgBackRest, Barman, WAL-G, provider snapshots: I replay your restore command, on your hardware. No parallel backup is created.
- Recovery time measured on your hardware, along the route you would take on the day of the outage. RTO broken down step by step, RPO actually reached, and the human path: who presses the button, with which credentials, and where it stalls.
- A dated report, signed by a named person, that your NIS2 auditor reads with no account and no tool. Scope, method, evidence and gaps ranked by priority.
What this is not
- Not software to install: nothing to place next to production, nothing to run.
- Not an NIS2 compliance certification.
What you get
- Real restore of your latest backup, then to a point in time.
- Recovery time (RTO) and possible data loss (RPO) measured, not estimated.
- Gaps against good practice, ranked by priority.
- Dated, signed PDF report an auditor or an insurer can read.
- 45-minute debrief call.

How it works
- You order online. 50% deposit at order.
- You give me access: VPN or bastion, a read-only account and a throwaway restore host, or a copy of the backup.
- I restore, measure, write the report. Delivery within 5 business days of receiving access.
- Debrief call, 50% balance on delivery.
Why now
Recent security frameworks (NIS2, CyberFundamentals) ask for tested backups. I do not sell compliance. I hand you proof that you can restore.
